We’re Alex and Sonja Overhiser, husband and wife healthy food influencers based in Indianapolis. We’re a writer and photographer couple who believes in the power of healthy, real food home cooking, internationally-inspired flavors, and thoughtful, sustainable eating
After we got married, we challenged each other to start eating better. In just a few months, we went from eating fast and frozen food to regularly cooking vegetarian meals from scratch. In the process, we found we had more energy, slept better, and were happier. In 2010, we started this website to document the recipes we were eating. Together, we found that eating nourishing whole foods and lots of vegetables could be delicious and even fun. Since then, our lives have been devoted to creating recipes and spreading the joy of nourishing, sustainable home cooking.
